Welcome to my blog, Nourish X Flourish! I couldn’t be happier that you’ve found my page. My name is Marijke Seykora and I am a student passionate about the field of holistic wellness. If I’m not doing school related activities, you can find me in the kitchen cooking nourishing meals, taking a hike out in nature, or sipping herbal tea while reading a good book. Why holistic wellness?
Conventional systems have normalized habits that fail to support the natural rhythm of our bodies and complicate what it means to live well. Heavily processed foods, sedentary office jobs, irritating chemicals- the list goes on of modern standards that harm us regularly. Meanwhile, we combat the constant spread of questionable wellness claims that overcomplicate what is necessary to lead a healthful life. Adopting a holistic approach simplifies the concept of health and invites you to reconnect yourself with a balanced, peaceful state of being.
A holistic lifestyle supports all aspects of our wellbeing, without compromising one for another. Holistic practices intend to nourish the mind, body, and soul all at once, building harmonious connections and promoting optimal health.
